Parents and Teachers:

(Lead Parents may want to send this part to all parents.)

For the best experience at our farm, please read the following so that you and your students are prepared.

—There will NOT be any vendors on site during week days.

—We have water/sodas available for $1, and we will have ONLY hamburgers($5) , all beef hotdogs ($3), and chips. We also have a country store where we sell pumpkins and some local handmade items, etc. , if you’d like to send them with a couple extra dollars.

—We do have porta-potties available with a hand-washing station.

—Students will be visiting a farm so please have them dress appropriately. Ex: Play clothes and close toed shoes. The students should be dressed appropriate for whatever the outside temperature is. If we have had recent rain, mud could be a possibility, so, old shoes, boots or rubber boots are best. Sandals are not recommended. Mosquitoes can be bad in the early mornings.

—You may bring your own lunches. There is a covered area with tables and chairs available. There is also plenty of room on the grass and teachers are welcome to bring large blankets/tarps for their kids to sit and picnic on.

Things you may need:

  1. Sunscreen – Bug spray – Map for directions to get here
  2. Water/food – Appropriate attire/close toed shoes -Hat/sunglasses

The children can participate in the following activities at our farm:

  • 10:30am: Hands-on educational opportunities with the farm animals
  • 11:00am: 6 acre Maze with educational stop points
  • 11:30am: Interactive tractor pulled hayride
  • 12:00pm: Life Cycle of a Pumpkin learning lesson
