About Us

In 1986, Chuck and Peggy Cowart began Cowart Ranch and Farms’ first endeavors in Flagler County, Fl. by forming The Blueberry Strand with each blueberry plant they planted. As the years flew and their family grew, so did their local blueberry U-Pick and commercial marketing operation. Then one of natures disasters struck, leaving 6 acres of late variety blueberry bushes.

Since then, our family continues to grow blueberries and we’ve recently branched into new adventures like selling our very own grass-fed beef, and our fall operations of growing pumpkins, sunflowers, and fall family activities. We’ve introduced Agri-tourism into our farming community by hosting Flagler Counties “Maze Dayz,” a fun fall harvest festival!! The festival is scheduled on weekends in October and weekdays for scheduled school groups. It’s held at The Blueberry Strand, located at 8185 W. Highway 100 in Bunnell. Check our more information about this by clicking on the tab labeled Maze and Fall Festival. We’d love to see you out here this year supporting one of your local farmers. Remember NO FARMS, NO FOOD!
